St Christopher's Hospice - 50th Anniversary Celebration
St Christopher’s Hospice celebrated its 50th Anniversary and marked the occasion on Thursday 22 June 2017 by hosting an afternoon tea party in the beautiful gardens of Lambeth Palace.
The Dulwich Almshouse Charity (DAC) has supported the good work of St Christopher’s over the years, by making grant payments towards St Christopher’s Home Care Service.
Our Warden Shelley Miles, together with our Almshouse Charity’s Administrative Officer Veronica Edwards, were very pleased to attend the event to represent the DAC and be a part of the celebrations. It was also nice to put faces to names as they met with some of the staff of St Christopher’s. The event was well attended, a wonderful afternoon tea was served and the guests were entertained by a jazz band and a choir. We were blessed with good weather and it was wonderful to be a part of St. Christopher’s celebrations in recognition of the great work they have done over so many years!
