Bidding a fond farewell to Catrin Waugh, Chair of the Board of Trustees

On Thursday 30th July, the residents met in the grounds of the almshouse for a socially distanced glass of wine and nibbles to bid a fond farewell to Catrin Waugh, Chair of Trustees, on her retirement. Catrin had been a Trustee of the Dulwich Almshouse Charity for 15 years and Chair of the Board of Trustees for the last 5 years.

Catrin has always had a close relationship with the residents, visiting the almshouse regularly, attending coffee mornings and social events and escorting them to outside events. The residents, staff and fellow Trustees will very much miss Catrin and greatly appreciate all the hard work she has put in over the years.

The residents presented Catrin with a bone china cup and saucer from Fortnum and Mason, along with a tea caddy and tea, a box of cakes to enjoy with afternoon tea, a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a bottle of sparkling wine.
