Residents Summer Outing
On Tuesday 12th July the Residents had their summer outing to Eastbourne. 11 Residents and 5 Helpers went along. The rain stayed away whilst we were out and only started on the way home so we were very lucky.
On arrival by coach at Eastbourne we went to The Sovereign Harbour Restaurant for lunch, it was in a beautiful setting in the harbour with a view of the boats. Everyone had a lovely lunch and then after lunch the coach returned and took us to the seafront for free time.
The Residents and helpers went off in groups, many choosing to walk along the pier and stop for a cup of tea.
We returned to the coach at 4.15pm and started our journey home. Everyone had a lovely day and slept well.
